So let me introduce myself! I’m Anna (but you’ve probably already read that on the home page), a French girl in her mid-20s who almost exclusively reads in English. But that’s probably because I’m an English teacher and apparently can’t live without the English language, so there goes!
I absolutely love reading, but I also write a little (mostly fanfiction for now, I’ll admit), and I also love horse riding, skiing (though I haven’t done either of these things in YEARS).
And right now I can’t think of anything else that could be useful. So I’m going to leave it at that. For now.
What I read
Mostly romantasy right now. Though I was in the biggest reading slump and the book that got me out of it was actually a nonfiction book, What Stands in a Storm by Kim Cross (which is a book about the devastating tornado outbreak of April 2011… but more about that in my first review to come soon).
And I love military history, though I’ve never actually quite gotten through a whole book of it. Especially the history of women in the military.
And I’m also a fan of Harry Potter (only read them in French though), being a very proud Hufflepuff, and Tolkien (the only books I’ve read by him are actually The Silmarillion and The Hobbit… still waiting to tackle The Lord of the Rings… but I’ve watched the movies!).
So if I had to pick some genres, I’d say I prefer fantasy and nonfiction.
Where you can find me
On Goodreads and The Story Graph, under the same name: Anna (A House Full of Books). (Also, you can add me as a friend there, and I’d looooove to talk about some of the books I’m currently reading, so don’t hesitate to message me there.)
On BookTok, but that’s just a project for now!
